Incoming complaint/rant.

A huge pain in the rear to convert. This model, and in fact all the Avengers models are ridiculously troublesome. First, for some reason, the model that Crazy31139 ported has all the LOD models, which are the lower poly models meant to be used when the character is at a distance. Great for the game. Useless anywhere else. So before I even start, I have to clean up all the duplicates and LOD model. Worse, the name of the mesh doesn't correspond to any pattern, which means I have to check each mesh one by one to ensure that those removed are the correct ones, a tedious process.

After that is done, the textures are the next big headache. The names on the textures are random numbers, which again makes it needlessly troublesome to identify which textures are what. To make things worse, every mesh has, for some reason, 2 UV. So some textures fit on one UV, and others on the other, and there is no way to tell which is which other the applying the textures, and see if the UV match up. An incredibly tedious process.

All in all, this model took over 16 hours, of which I can safely say over 10 hours is spend just dealing with the insane mess that are the textures.

I want to find out which idiot thought that having 2 UV is a good idea, and hang him by his toes, damnit...
