Overdue October 2023 Update
Added 2023-10-21 11:32:53 +0000 UTCHey everyone, I hope you're all keeping well. I realized it's been a wee bit since the last update. I've been kept busy with content; I just haven't had much time beyond that to squeeze in our usual updates.
While there hasn't been much verbal reaction to Price of Perfection, from stats alone, it seems you all enjoyed it, so look out for Chapter 2 in November. Setting up that opening chapter was fun, giving off the same flair and tone as Juiced, which I aimed for. If you liked that story on Deviantart, you'd want to watch Price.
I had planned to write Halloween-themed content this year. The idea was solid, right down to an ending. My only issue was not being sure how people would feel about the theme. Called Meat, this year's scares were going to focus on a cannibalistic female bodybuilder who abducts rival bodybuilders for her meals, the meat from which allows her to grow bigger. Meat would be gruesome and gory, something I hadn't done before, so it would definitely be a challenge. I was just wary of the reception, so I decided against it. Depending on people's thoughts, I may still do it - it just won't be in time for Halloween.
I recently finished the initial draft of a co-op piece with my good friend Jderril. If all goes well, we should probably have that out by the end of this month—no spoilers with this one. I think you'll like it.
Next up: as we quickly approach the new year, I'm considering shelved or put-on-ice serials and continuing one semi-regularly. The series I'm eager to bring back is Glory Days. I haven't explored that in over a year, and it seemed pretty popular with you guys, so look out for Glory Days II in 2024.
