This is the complete official map of Akutosis, the moon where the parasitic and highly sexual Nilphir infestation and stories take place.
Below you will find info about its general geology and society, followed by short introductions on each of its points of interest including settlements, research bases and the much-dreaded Impact Site.

GEOLOGY/POPULATION
Akutosis is one of three moons circling the dark red gas giant Elyssal, the other two moons being Zarragon and Isterion. While the gas giant is uninhabitable, all three moons are habitable.
Akutosis is a moon rich with exotic flora and highly interesting sediments, crystals and other peculiarities, making it a place very suitable for scientific research. On top of that, it is in a strategically favourable position in space, making it a brilliant outpost spot.
As such, the majority of Akutosis' population consists of scientific researchers and military forces from many different cooperating societies that have formed interplanetary organisations with one another. Space travel is common and commercialized, and many people know how to operate a spacecraft. In the past, people would work on Akutosis for a few months, and then leave for other planets to see their family for a few months. Since the Nilphir infestation began, this is no longer possible as Akutosis is in a state of lockdown.
Native life on Akutosis is in a relatively prehistoric stage of development. All waters on the moon have a magenta colour due to an overwhelming presence of a poisonous type of algae. While plant life on Akutosis has adapted to this succesfully, wildlife has not. Wildlife on Akutosis consist of mostly rodents that have not grown bigger than a cat. These rodents feed on plant saps for their hydration. Every settlement has a filter system to take out the algae, and when filtered out, the water regains its clarity.
Akutosis, being one big research hub, has a less diverse professional population than a 'regular' habitable planet, but due to the high multiculturality - people from all over the galaxy work there, after all - the ethnicities and origins of the Akutosian popularity is infinitely diverse in contrast. As is probably clear by now, no one on Akutosis is truly native to Akutosis, but people who have worked there for a long time may opt to refer to themselves as Akutosians. Akutosis was a relatively peaceful moon before the Nilphir infestation, with most conflicts being resolved by the present military forces (which went in a more peaceful manner than it sounds). After word of the Nilphir infestation began to spread across the galaxy, Akutosis became somewhat of a criminal hot spot as well. After all, word of a sex-parasite infestation inevitably attracts people who will eventually exploit it for their own good...
As this piece intends to highlight the geological layout of Akutosis rather than highlight its societal problems, the society of Akutosis and its sexual criminality problem will be further elaborated upon in different entries.
SETTLEMENTS
There are three types of settlement on Akutosis.
-Large settlements: where most people live when not at work. Because many people from many different cultures congregate on Akutosis, a small entertainment culture has formed in these worker-cities. People who may be scientists or soldiers by day, may be bartenders, cooks, prostitutes or performers (or anything else you can think of!) by night. In addition to this, it was also not unheard of for full-time professionals to move to Akutosis for work (pre-Nilphir, that is). Because of this, the types of people you will find in the big cities is very diverse. Big cities have automated farms as well, and food is transported and deployed all across Akutosis by military vehicles. All big cities are deliberately circular, and have high, secured walls around them.
-Small settlements: similar to the larger settlements except for size. Small settlements tend to be a bit more vulnerable, and some of them have been taken over by organized crime.
-Research bases: where experiments sre ran and most of the non-field research is done. These are heavily fortified since the coming of the Nilphir, and since work happens in shifts and experiments and documents eed to be protected, there are always some people present.
Below you will find information to each settlement.
MAIN CITIES
Mairu
The capital city of Akutosis, and the most densely populated. Deemed a sanctuary by its inhabitants, this city has the most sophisticated fortifications.
Strosas
A seaside city that houses many refugees from Phoros.
Phoros
A large city that is in constant high conflict against the nearby Nilphir hive. Parts of the city have been fully corrupted, and people regularly disappear from it. Highly militarized, as many non-gun-wielding folks have fled to Strosas. The entire peninsula is a battleground.
Melosa
The second biggest city on Akutosis. Fortifications are being built, but its proven to be very difficult to protect this place when it's surrounded by two hives and the Impact Site itself. Receives supplies from Nereiko, and distributes these across the southern island.
Calsior
An island city. Frequently has to deal with rapidly evolving aquatic and aerial Nilphir forms, and is therefore struggling, since it can't mimic the defense strategies of other settlements. Frequently suffers from supply shortages. Radio contact has fallen out a few times with Calsior.
Qurin
A city overlooking a forested valley and the town of Alectis. People from Alectis regularly flee to Qurin, because the forest down in the valley has been completely corrupted by the nearby Nilphir hive. Qurin does their best to stave off attacks from the forest, and struggles to reach the hive. The forest houses many unknown plant-type Nilphir.
RESEARCH BASES
Base-104
Mairu's research base. Being covered by some of Mairu's fortifications still, this research base is one of the safest on Akutosis. Some of the riskier experiments are conducted here, since the security level is higher than that of other bases.
Base-105
Eiremos' research base. Base-105 is fighting a losing battle against the Nilphir. It is rumored that some scientists that willingly congregate in this base, so close to a hive, are corrupt and have their own nefarious agendas. Military forces fear this base as it resides in a very high threat level area.
Base-106
Lost to the Nilphir. Some highly important documents are still here, so people have made attempts to come retrieve them. However, this has proven to be very difficult. Organized crime tries to get their hands on these as well.
Base-201
Melosa's research base. Most classified documents have been taken away from this base by armed and infected criminals from Corax. This research base has become more of a military outpost than anything scientific, since there are frequent conflicts with both Corax' criminals and the two nearby Nilphir hives.
Base-202
Qurin's research base. It overlooks a nearby hive, which it constantly surveys with drones and cameras. While this hive is constantly being watched, it is physically very difficult to reach it due to the vast, corrupted forest south of it. It also studies the Nilphir that come out of the corrupted forest beneath it, as these Nilphir are moreso plant-based than elsewhere on Akutosis.
SMALL SETTLEMENTS
Peithos
A settlement very recently set up by people who fled from lost settlements. It is built the furthest from any Nilphir hive and sits at a bottleneck of mountains. It is said that the people who reside in Peithos are extremely distrustful towards anyone who comes to their town, and will go through great screenings to determine whether or not someone is infected. Sometimes, people who come into Peithos will be executed purely on grounds of suspicion. Sure, it might be Nilphir-safe, but...
Eiremos
A settlement further up the river from Aione. Helps in distributing supplies. Gets additional cover from Mairu's defenses.
Aione
Receives supplies from Nereiko, and distributes these across the northern island.
Eostre and Artera
Two settlements cut off from the city of Mairu by a large hive between them. This hive specifically seems to jam any attempts at radio contact, putting Eostre and Artera in a highly isolated position. This nearby hive specifically produces an abnormally large amount of aphrodisiac spores, which drifts into both these towns and Base-105. All affected settlements have an incredibly hard time battling this hive because of it. On top of that, Artera in particular has recently been infiltrated by organized crime as well...
Aureax
A town that a lot of organised criminals have holed themselves up in. Considered lost.
Nereiko
One of the safer towns to be. It is surrounded by sea. Supplies from other planets are often dropped here when they aren't dropped in Mairu.
Zephron
A small village right next to a hive. Contact was lost a long time ago. Rescue expeditions have been held, but Nilphir tentacles reach far and wide and have put a stop to most of these. Considered beyond doomed. Who knows what the situation on Zephron is...
Lyxos
Contact has been lost with Lyxos as well, though very abruptly and with little indication of crisis before. As of now, no one knows what has happened to the place, but the people fear the worst.
Corax
Fully taken over by corrupt organized criminals, who have turned the town into a dangerous, Nilphir-based brothel. These criminals have willingly given themselves up to the Nilphir, and now use it to exploit others with their depravity. Nearly everyone in this town is infected. Black market trade is confirmed to be driven here as well.
Golux
Highly struggling. Golux has infiltrators from the fully lost town of Corax, and people are frequently kidnapped to there. They have some protection from the nearby Base-201, but with two hives nearby as well, this is not nearly enough. Golux fights a losing battle with both the Nilphir and the nearby infected town of Corax.
Macari
One mountain and a stream of water away from the impact site, Macari is considered lost to the Nilphir. Since it is so close to the impact site, the Nilphir forms that emerge from this town tend to be newer, more powerful and more aggressive Nilphir forms. The entirety of Macari seems to have been turned into a breeding ground. Drones have captured a large amount of breeding pods stuffed into the broken buildings. The Nilphir protects these seemingly special breeding grounds aggressively, hinting at something terrible being bred here...
Alectis
A couple of houses in a forested valley. The people in Alectis have it hard with the surrounding forest getting progressively more corrupted. Most people have fled to nearby Qurin, but some swear by protecting the last of what's left of it.
THE IMPACT SITE
It is rumored that this is where all of the misery on Akutosis originated. It all started when an unusually large ship of unknown origins crashed itself into the moon. Radars failed to pick it up in time, which makes it an even bigger mystery due to the immense size of this ship. No one seemed to have been on board (uncomfirmed), but strange chemicals from the ship have leaked into the rocky soil, reaching the underground caves where Nilphir thrive. Originally, a 'Nilphir' was nothing more than a harmless, glowing cave mushroom, but contact with these strange fluids have caused it to rapidly mutate into what it is today. The Impact Site is where the heart of the Nilphir resides, and spans an area with a diameter of 100 kilometres. While Akutosians have been trying to reach the Impact Site for years, it appears like an impossible task. The Nilphir is more aggressive, more dire and incredibly powerful on the Impact Site, and it is hypothesized that a hive dubbed the "Crownless Mother" (as it has no Ravenous Crown and would sit completely underground) is situated here. However, this is difficult to prove. Those who mingle with self-infection claim to hear Her in the hivemind, but tend to be too far gone by the time their claims can be validated. Those who experiment on the infected cannot seem to get a conclusive answer out of their subjects. The Nilphir tentacles at the Impact Site are apparently so large, that they can take aircrafts out of the sky...

Alright! So that was a whole lot. I can't thank everyone enough for supporting me and seeming interested in this running project, which motivates me immensely in making and putting out Nilphir content. Of course, there are only so many sexual things I can say about a world map (please don't expect to jerk it to a world map lol) but I need to establish this place before I - and hopefully you too - can make adult content about it! That said, I hope this read wasn't too boring and didn't deter you from the sexual expectations of the project. Tentacles will happen, I promise!
I can't wait to show more, and describe and illustrate all the juicy details of the Nilphir parasite terrorizing Akutosis, and perhaps, your characters too~
