Text, visual effects and sound effects in art?

There's something I'd like to ask to you patrons that will influence my future works! How do you feel about text, sfx and vfx in my artworks? I'm talking about the comic-like things, characters expressing surprise, having exclamation marks near their heads as a tentacle creeps up real close, tremble lines when something makes one shiver in forced pleasure, little impact lines to show a belly expanding and various wet sounds like "glrp", "slp" and such. Would you rather see those, or not? I'd probably not include them in *every* work, but i'd like to make sure it's actually something people would like, and that it's not a turn-off!

Thanks for your valuable input! This will most certainly help. You're definitely right in that in arts with detailed (flesh) structures, fx could serve to lead the eye. I hadn't thought of it this way yet!

Little stuff like that adds atmosphere to the scene of most pictures in my optinion. Especially your art with complex structures and stuff going on can profit from this, giving the mind a focus point and dive into the scenery.

I have to agree here with this.

I usually like these, but it can vary from piece to piece. Almost always better to have them, but it might be good to also see versions without.
