Oh the memories
Added 2022-06-21 08:30:59 +0000 UTCFor many years I ran a blog sharing my ramblings on the world, encouraging people to embrace the freedom of being nude, my photography and all sorts of randomness. During those years I stumbled across these photos of this man. His name is Jarl Espen Ygranes and he was a professional Ice Hockey player on the Norwegian national team.
We are talking about 15 years ago so for me to see a national representative sports person posing completely nude and full frontal was quite a surprise. Here in Australia we have had sports stars do nude shoots but always quite modest. Clearly in Scandinavia as we know, they are a bit more relaxed towards nudity.
The photos, by John Andresen are elegant in their simplicity and beautifully highlight Jarl's beautifully honed physique. Jarl has a stunningly chiseled face with gorgeous features. I had a crush on him instantly and photographing him would have been an absolute joy. I tried to find out more about what he's doing now but didn't have a lot of luck. Hopefully he's still getting naked just as much.

2022-06-23 23:03:16 +0000 UTCThe magazine "Not Only Blue" (I think) did nude specials for both the Sydney and Athens Olympics. Both featured full frontal male and female athletes. I'll have to dig them out.
