This is an important message, it's long but please read :)
Once again we express our sincere appreciation, respect and gratitude for your kind help and support to us ♥
We know how much you value our work and want to see our website running.
Unfortunately not everyone does fair like this way...
Yesterday a patron left us after 7 days downloading entire content without sharing a single cent. She took content but she did not follow through on her pledge. A sorry act of bad faith :(
Unhappily Patreon does not have a policy to avoid such loss unless we change the way patrons are charged in order to avoid further loss.
Either Patreon charges once in the beginning of each month or they charge patrons up front, which means that a patron will be charged right in the moment he/she chooses to support our website and subsequently in the beginning of each month.
We tried to avoid this second option because if someone chooses to support SIMcredible in the end of month, she/he will be charged that day and will be charged again some days after, when a new month begins.
Unfortunately there's no other option left.
If at least patreon could charge patrons always in the same day when they first join us... but they don't have this option.
So we apologize sincerely but we will have to change the way Patrons are charged to upfront way to protect our content.
We feel sincerely sorry if a single person's act reflects on all of you.
We still believe in good faith but we have to protect our content and also protect the ones who actually cares about SIMcredible and actually follow their pledge.
