Aoi, Akari and Yuzu - WIP Sketch

Ongeki is a an arcade rhythm game which is, as far as I know, exclusive to Japan. Despite not being personally familiar with it, I think the characters are really cute. I hope I do them justice.
Those of you who follow me on Twitter will already know, but I plan on taking a study break after this piece. The Xenoblade animation was very time consuming, but you might be surprised to know that only about 20% of that time was dedicated to drawing -- the lion's share was spent rigging, animating, polishing (so much polishing...). I want to keep my skills sharp, and spend some time conscientiously developing my style, which I haven't done for a long while. That means I will have to go dark here for a while. But I think the end result will be better, faster, more appealing work for all of you to to enjoy.
