Well, I’m just gonna mention that you need to watch (what I guess is a cut-out scene from Kitten) where Mulder tells Scully to kiss him😂 I’m easy like that😉Timestamp 2:53-3:10💛

Fun facts: The first mentioning of Skinner im Vietnam was in "One Breath" season 2. And it was this episode when Skinner confessed to Mulder, that he had to "blew a boys head off" because he was wearing explosives.
"Kitten" is the fourth Skinner centric episode of The X Files, after "Avatar" season 3, "Zero Sum" season 4, and "S.R. 819" season 6. However, it is my least favorite out of those.
Things I didn't like:
1. I don't like it when they reuse similar ideas too often. We already had like 3 episodes about the government doing mind control experiments on people with gas. "Blood" season 2, "Unusual suspects" season 5, "Three of a kind" season 6.
2. It felt more like an episode about Mulder and Scully investigating Skinner, and less like an episode actually centered around Skinner.
3. I wished there were more connections to stuff from previous episodes, like Skinners out of body experience or his "guardian angel".
What I really liked was Skinners monologue to Mulder and Scully in the end. That was big, after all the distrust.
But I think what they really should have done is an episode showing only young Skinner in vietnam, similar to the one about the young smoking man, that would have been great.
