Loooove your wrap up, girls! I’d like to point out that Shelley made a perfect analysis of the Chris Carter/Scully relationship. There's even a 20th-anniversary panel featuring all the writers, Carter, Gillian, and David (highly recommend watching it later, and if you want to record reactions to it, that would be amazing, lol). During the panel, a question was asked about the impact of a female character in a sci-fi show to which he responded: "Scully is kind of my fantasy woman. She is strong and smart and opinionated and resourceful, tough, all these things I, you know, like. And it was kind of a fantasy relationship as well, more intellectual than anything else." And that´s why we are always suffering as shippers lol Can´t wait for the next movie and revival reactions! Happy Holidays, everyone! 🎄✨

I won't post more detailed information until after their reactions have aired, since I basically wrote a thesis (lol) years ago on the revival and why I experienced it the way I did. I'm very glad you were able to enjoy it though, and the same for everyone else who enjoyed it.

2024-12-22 23:43:45 +0000 UTCFrom some the reports I've read it seems that they had big plans for Lucy Lawless character for S9 and they had to quickly scrap some of those plans when she got pregnant. So it would have been interesting to see where her plot would have gone had sill been on the show.

Shelley's answer to one of my questions was extremely insightful, so I'm pretty sure I know what I'll be expecting from you once you get to the revival. Anyway, basically the "US version" of my name is "Damien", but most people pronounced it just like you did, when I lived in the States, lol. :D This was a very thorough and enjoyable wrap-up.
