I voted for Nightmare, but my mind remained on Shadow. If I had voted for Shadow, my mind would have remained on Nightmare. This choice is a complete nightmare.

2024-01-10 15:55:53 +0000 UTCChoosing between nightmare and shadows is hard, they're both very monumental episodes, nightmare is where we learn that Sam has telekinesis psychic power!! It's the first time we see it in action and also where we first learn about the psychic kids, it's THE Sam episode and where the plot starts to move and methodology starts to build, shadow on the other hand is the first episode we see john since the pilot and see his interactions with Sam & dean and our first fight against a proper demon (meg) if you don't count Fantom traveler, ultimately for me personally, someone who doesn't like john and cherish the few instants of sam's powers that the show gave us, it was a no brainer to choose nightmare
