Yes, it will be very interesting to see how this pans out in the race. It reflects the main reason why I was fine with the penalty Max got at the last race - many thought it was too lenient, but it has these knock-on effects at the following races, and it feels justified to me because it was brought about by Max doing something that was well out of order. The first corner could be especially interesting...
