IMHO Jorge panicked when the rain started. From experience (I have more than the t-shirt), Jorge has some issues with anxiety, much like Aleix (who also pulled in). Anxiety is a fear based disorder. Recurring thoughts in head (entry level OCD - not OCPD). Can also be irritable, short fuse, easily frustrated. Some elements of paranoia where even when something innocuous happens, your brain jumps to someone did it on purpose. In summary its your brain lying to you. It is actually fairly common. Unfortunately most people with anxiety deny there is a problem and are busy wondering why more people aren't like themselves. #mentalhealth

A few technical questions about riding in damp conditions that came to mind: 1) Do riders use more rear brake in the wet/damp conditions? I saw a few closeups of Marc Marquez using the rear brake into tight right handers and I wondered about technique. I'm used to seeing MM93 with his rear tire on the air in years gone by on the Honda so I always assumed he just didn't use it much, at least in the dry. 2) Tire life in the damp seems to be better for some riders than others. Jack Miller on particular. I always assumed spinning the tire caused the overheating and blistering eventually in the dry but in cooler, wetter conditions it would spin and just not suffer the overheating as much. Does that explain why riders like Miller can perform well in the rain? They can spin their tires, maximize slip angles and maybe even keep the tire in a slightly warmer/more optimal temperature window?
