Not a MotoGP question, I'm rather new to this, am wondering why the rookie moto 2 ( promote from moto 3) struggling so bad, almost all the rookie are fighting for 18th place? Is this rookie class just bad or does it actually take a whole year to get used to the bike? (not talk about race win, but fight top 10)

Also, everyone is scared of Martin taking the #1 plate to Aprilia, but it would be utterly hilarious if Bestia took it to Tech3 KTM

2024-08-04 13:33:07 +0000 UTCFortunately we didn’t see too many issues with riders slow on the racing line this week, but for future events or seasons, would it be worth considering an indycar/nascar style ‘alternate start-finish line’ in practice and qualifying that would allow riders to pull into the pits rather than puttering around on slow in laps?

Everyone seems to believe Yamaha will be so much better off with a 2nd team on the grid because of all the extra data and that makes complete sense….until you look across at the four Honda’s making up the numbers at the back seemingly going nowhere. 2024-08-04 09:44:21 +0000 UTCThere's been a lot of discussion in the last few weeks about the next regulation cycle so I was curious; How will the performance difference between satellite and factory bikes initially be maintained when the new regulations are introduced? Will factories also supply b-spec bikes to satellite teams the first year? Or will they all run factory bikes the first year and the satellite teams just keep the same bike for s2? Very interested to know how this sort of situation is supposed to play out/usually plays out, cheers!
