Here's another quick preview. I'm currently working on a new map element rendering system that allows me to create renderers for different map elements, e.g. radar entities, waypoints, which can instantly be used universally across the map mods. For example, the new entity radar renderer can be used to render inside the minimap frame like what you're used to seeing, over the minimap frame like the waypoints (including sticking to the border when out of bounds), or on the world map like in the preview screenshot. I'm also planning to integrate in-game waypoint rendering into the same system. In theory, this should also enable me to render the minimap radar (or any future map elements) in game.
Although I started working on this to simplify the introduction of new map elements for future features that should be rendered by both the map mods, soon I am going to release the options for rendering the minimap radar over the world map and possibly for rendering it like the over-minimap waypoints. Keep in mind that the radar is still going to be limited to the entities loaded on the client side but you will be able to see beyond the minimap border, which is nice.
