The reason why I picked up the second Bread maker was it was one I wanted but didn't want to spend a lot of money on one and AP always says we should have a backup to everything, from can openers etc..... it was a good buy, now I have a backup. I come across Bread Makers at thrift stores ALL the time. Love looking for kitchen items, last year found a meat slicer ($12.00) ALL stainless steel.... the new ones today are made with a lot of plastic. Meat slicer are not just for meat, great for slicing large amounts of food for slicing for dehydrating.

As for your Bread machine you have AP I picked one up at a thrift store for $12.00, same make and model you have Cuisinart Bread Maker, perfect condition, clean, looks brand new, no scratches inside and out, all the instructions and books for the Bread maker was in the bread maker..... the thrift store I bought it from warranty's all electric appliances. The last bread machine I bought from a thrift store, ($12.00) is a older model, at it's prime sold for over $200 and it was in its original box and packaging with all the instructions manuals. It has been used at least once, was in new condition, inside and out without any dents or scratches,
