2021-04-28 19:04:08 +0000 UTCMotherGoose, I am a real budget minded person who hates credit BUT, given where we are and going, I would suggest you get the windows now and then focus on getting the debt paid off as quickly as possible. I believe (and I am not a financial advisor) that the interest you pay won't be nearly as much as what you will spend in materials at a later date. I too have some work that needs to be done, including getting a new vapor barrier put down. I am getting my final estimate this week and decided when I was told this was needed, to do it NOW since plastic is one of those things on the shortage list. Even though I could probably wait anoter 6 months or more, I would rather bite the bullet and get it done while supplies are still available at a reasonable cost. I also have to get some window work done and just set up an appointment with Lowe's today for an estimate. I am trying to think out of the box in terms of what else I need and decided to get the internal machanations for each toilet in the house in case something breaks and we can't get it when the time comes. I would rather have some of this stuff and not need it than to need it and not have it. Congrats on your new home!
