A Quick Update

Hey everyone,

Sorry for going quiet for so long. I stepped back to recharge a bit and it became obvious pretty fast that I’d been pouring way too much time and energy into this. What started as a fun hobby had slowly turned into a second job that didn’t come with sick leave, annual leave or anything remotely resembling balance.

The first month off felt like I’d resurfaced after holding my breath for two years. I suddenly had free time again and it hit me how burnt out I’d actually been. That break gave me the space to figure out how I can keep making comics without running myself into the ground.

Since this isn’t my main income, I want to treat it like what it originally was… a hobby I enjoy rather than behaving like one of those manga writers that works themselves to death. With that in mind, I’m going to drop the subscription price to something much lower. Basically enough to cover assets which cost more than actual clothes.

I expect to have some new work ready next month along with the updated subscription cost.

My output will likely be a bit lighter and less consistent than before but I’ll still be creating and I hope you’ll still enjoy the work at a pace that’s sustainable.
