Maybe I'm old and grumpy. But, I find today's reports are just not interested in getting all the facts straight and telling the whole story. Gone are the days when reporters really did the work and tell the whole story. The world is now inundated with fluff stories that get views and news media makes money from. Maybe the world is simply suffering from ADHD and can only watch or read things that last only a few minutes too. Sigh.

Transportation accounts for at least 1/3 of all energy costs/Co2. That is around 34%. It is the largest % of Hydrocarbon ( fossil fuel) CO2 emissions and that is one of the reasons Elon Musk started with cars/transportation. The quickest way to accelerate the change to sustainable non polluting energy. There are, of course, other spokes on this wheel. Sustainable means non polluting and that means, in one main case, the ability to store energy produced by non constant sources like wind and solar. Thus; Tesla Energy, i.e. massive and inexpensive batteries that Tesla is producing and installing all over the earth. That is the development of the "tabless" 4680 battery using LiFeP (Lithium, Iron, Phosphate) technology. Cheap, very efficient, long lasting, environmentally/socially responsible batteries.

The Blue Box story was awesome! (I second that.) We need more like it. In general, humans don't like to "conserve" anything and so we need to become more efficient with energy usage. This is the real reason I have invested in both $TSLA and $FUV. (Not to make $$ in the short term.) I'm hoping Tesla will get into HVAC systems and I think they will. Probably our only hope for true sustainability. I believe cars account for 15% energy usage? Something like that.
