Her comment on Machina thinking he is a god, look back at previous issues and the graffiti of 'God is a Machine' is not random.
Also totally not needed tid bit, Ferum don't live as long as humans they're average lifespan is around 60 years depending on the species. So Director Adams at 37 would face a lot of 'your biological clock is ticking' comments.
She hates kids and for the most part she hates society.

I wasn't but I'm glad to hear it has that effect, I was just trying to focus on the glass ash tray on each page of this conversation as well it ends with Director Adams throwing it. :D Sequential art version of Chekhov's gun.
