In my normal life, I often work behind the scenes on many other different types of projects.
I was lucky to spend the first few weeks of our recent lock down working as production manager for the incredible Word Travels Story Week. It is a week long celebration of writing and stories in the spoken form, including a huge nationwide poetry slam competition for Australians to crown their national champion. There was also a special focus on first nations performers, writing and stories in many different forms. I particularly recommend checkig out Silla and Rise for some incredible Inuit throat singing merged with spoken word and beats.
