Patreon Perk Breakdown!!!

Hello Internet Soldiers!

We have heard from our fans that some people are not exactly sure what they get by signing up for our Patreon.

We want to remind you that there are tabs at the top of the page where you can explore our collections and membership perks.

But also… why don’t we do a quick re-cap to save you some time!

This Patreon is the #1 way the Mega64 community can support what we do!

We aim to create comedy skits, live streams, podcasts and special live events for our audience. Most of that content is free for the public to view, but here on our Patreon you can also find special exclusives like a recording of the Mega64 After show (Which we call Post show clarity)

AND an Ad Free version of the Mega64 Podcast (Mega64 LIVE) + Post Show Clairty RSS Feed.

We also have perks such as:

And here is a breakdown of how all of our tiers work.

TIER 1

All patrons at this level will have access to all these exclusive series every month:

TIER 2

Everyone at this level will automatically receive all the perks from Tier 1, plus:

TIER 3

All the perks from Tier 1 and Tier 2. Plus:

TIER 4

ALL the exclusive stuff from the previous tiers, PLUS:

That means you have a direct line to suggest talking points, topics, questions and bits for the Mega64 Podcast, PLUS your name is featured in the closing theme of The Mega64 Podcast as a PRODUCER!

TIER 5

Everything from all other tiers, AND…

We appreciate your support at any level, and mostly we are just glad to have you watching our stuff!

Thanks for sticking with us through the years, we hope we can continue to create laughs, memories and great moments with all of you for a long time to come.

I'm confused, where's the audio feed for the main show? The RSS feed just pulls up Post Show Clarity. I guess the ad-free main show posts (with Youtube and mp3's of the post show) are separated out from the RSS feed?

Great post, Mike!

Look at how much tier 5 costs. Lol

For tier 5 "access to our vault of classic merchandise" would that mean we can get any item reprinted or like just what you guys have left from like from the office personal stash? I love VG Fact Checkers and its my favorite shirt design you've ever made and if that's a possibility and I could get old designs that I didn't have to chance to buy the first time that would be amazing and I would switch my tier when I was able to financially.

Some historical context for other Patrons (These are just my observations as a fan): Originally the Patreon tiers offered quarterly physical rewards. Manufacturing trouble would often put Mega64 behind on fulfilling these, especially over Covid. While trying to catch up on gift packages, they'd sometimes put up an exclusive "special event" video instead of promising a new physical gift. So, for the last few years, the tiers have said "digital or physical rewards", but still prompted international fans to pay extra for shipping in case it happened to be a "physical rewards" quarter. It was all a bit clumsy and hit its worst point in 2024, when declining merch sales and a bunch of business problems almost put an end to Mega64. The fans showed up to help them out, and Mega64 restructured some things and have been experimenting and trying to find more stability. A big part of that seems to be cutting out "preorder"-type merchandise, and cutting all the overhead that came with the Patreon gifts. Fulfilling their delayed 2023 gift bundles would have bankrupted them in 2024, and they were finally fulfilled in early/mid 2025. Alongside this post, they finally seem to be updating the Patreon descriptions to not mention the physical gifts. Frankly this should've been updated a long time ago, more and more people seemed to be confused and misled by the phrasing. Mega64 probably had some glimmer of hope that they could still make the gifts work, and didn't want to bite the bullet on updating the descriptions. Ongoing manufacturing issues and tariff BS were probably the last nails in the coffin. Ultimately Patreon's about supporting artists. If the perks of that pledge are taking time away from the art, or put the artist in financial risk, it defeats the purpose of backing them in the first place. Glad the descriptions have finally been updated and this post's been made to outline the current state of things.

There's honestly a good amount of material that's not represented in the patreon playlists. Older uploads you especially have to dig for. Panels and some game days material just off the top of my head. Stuff that should probably be in the existing Vault playlist. If you sort all posts by oldest to newest you'll start seeing them. That said, I feel like splitting the Vault playlist into multiple lists would make them more digestible. Right now it's a glob of panels, bts, deleted scenes, random one offs, streams, etc. I'd have a dedicated BTS playlist, dedicated Panel playlist, big event playlist, etc. because if it's not organized no one will see it, and it might as well not exist. This isn't Netflix where they shove anything and everything in your face, Patreon buries it in the feed.

I signed up as tier 2 and added in the extra $4 in order to receive quarterly packages in Europe, but after more than a year of membership I have not received a single item and now I see that it has changed (when?). I honestly don't really care about the items, I subscribe for the other stuff mostly but it would have been nice at least getting notified about the change

I would love it if the main podcast episodes showed up on the patreon RSS feed too.

Since the Patreon rewards are going to be all digital going forward (thats okay), I'd love to see better organization of the content if possible! Maybe a password protected website that hosts all the non-yt files on a simple video player?

As a tier 2 member, can you let me know when the last/next tier 3 stream is? I've been considering upgrading but it doesn't seem like these happen as often.

Can yall update the RSS feed for the Movie Club? Want to listen to them at work but using my podcast app instead of switching to YouTube
