October into November post
Added 2023-11-02 01:47:29 +0000 UTCPlan going forward: Finish hardening game, specifically finish the game-play and then get to work refurbishing the art and tf sequences while adding the last version of each (Alice's run), then back fill the alternate versions. Once the gameplay stuff is added then it just becomes a matter of patience. Making content isn't the hardest, just have to be patient.
If there's time left, get to work on rest of Monsters of The Forest!
Report on October:
Had it's ups and downs but by Aaaac's standards a remarkable success. I went from zero to about hundred images for 15 tf sequences, which involved figuring out how to port models from koikatsu to MMD, then figuring out how to make KatameShader work. On the gameplay front I got the first half of the game done. (You run the game again with changes based on how well you did in the first run, that's Alice's run.) I gotta make that.
I would of been started on that by now, but I ran into a real roadblock trying to make TF sequences. Having a hard time getting writing done in the project you are procrastinating on writing doing seems predictable. It was made worse because I don't even like hardening stuff. I gotta make a bunch of TF sequences, but I think it's doable with the basic outlines made.
On the personal front, in my immediate family there was a surgery today. I won't know how that turns out for a couple of days. If it goes well, it's time to find a job, if it goes bad I'll probably have to be on hand to help there. Not optimistic about the amount of work I can get done in either situation.
