2025-06-01 23:24:39 +0000 UTCK wanted to become a singer because he was inspired by Bruno Mars. He first took vocal lessons when he was 20 and started to take dance lessons when he was 21 in a dance/perfomance school in Japan. He lived in LA for a couple of month to learn dance there. He saw BTS for the first time when he was there and got inspired. He auditioned for bighit when he moved back to Japan. He had to convince his parents for about three month until they let him become a bighit trainee. He even asked if the bighit staff could help him convince them. He had only learned dance for about 15-16 month and korean for 8 month before I-land.
