In Minecraft, the lowest point of the terrain on the map is at 62, while the highest point is at 66, with a vertical resolution of 250m.

Water level is at 62, while the maximum building height is 320.

The spawn point is set to New York City.

Thank you! The height is really smoothed because of the scale, since a block in the game corresponds to 250m in the real world. For this reason the elevation change is not really appreciable. Love this so much! If I might ask, why is the height squished so much? Is that essentially natural, given the scale? I'd love to see a version with significantly magnified height, such that you can get a sense of the water features across a state. Amazing work!
