Corruptor Class Spells Part One: (Alpha 0.2)

The following spells are available to some of the Corruptor Classes within Quests of Change, namely the Conformity Cultist, Dominant, and Proportionist.


Borrowed Form

Action: One-Handed

MP Cost: 10 X times

Range: 0

Accuracy Dice: None

Spell Damage: None

Damage Type: None

Additional Effect: You wield the power of illusions to appear completely identical to another creature. Choose a creature you can see. For an amount for time dicated by the amount of MP spent to cast this spell (30 minutes for every 10 MP spent), an illusion coats your body, causing you to appear identical to the chosen creature, disguising your voice to sound identical to that of the chosen creature. If another creature touches you or if you sustain damage, this spell immediately ends.

Aura Of Elasticity

Action: One-Handed

MP Cost: 5 MP X times

Damage Type: None

Additional Effect: centered on yourself, you create an aura that alters the physics of not just your own body, but the bodies of your allies as well, allowing them to move in stretch in a manner akin to that of a cartoon. Until the beginning of your next turn, the melee range of each attack made by you and your allies is increase by +1. Additionally, rolls made to hit you are reduced by -1 due to the limber nature that this spell provides to those it affects. When you cast this spell, you may spend its MP cost any number of times. For each time you pay this cost, this spell's duration is increased by one turn.

Altar Build

Action: One-Handed

Accuracy Dice: 1d10 + Finesse

Damage Type: None

Additional Effect: You target a creature with an orb transformative azure mist. If hit, you choose one of three of the following builds, applying that physique to the target for the next minute. A creature can choose to be automatically hit by this spell.

-Comically Muscular: The target becomes cartoonishly muscular and massive, greatly improving their strength while hindering their movement and maneuverability. The target's Strength and Physicality each increase by +5 while their Finesse and Evasion are each reduced by -3.

-Scrawny: The target becomes quite skinny and frail-looking. While this lightweight form improves their maneuverability, improving their Finesse and Evasion by +3, it reduces the target's Strength and Physicality by -5

-Chubby: The target's body becomes notably more plush in pudgy all over. This reduces the target's Speed by -3 and their movement by -1.

A creature can only be affected by one instance of this spell at once.

Bask In Alteration

Action: Two-Handed

Additional Effect: You revel within bodily transformations of those around you, siphoning residual transformative magics to heal your wounds and clear your mind. For each creature within 5 spaces of you, regain 5 HP and 5 Will for each transformation currently afflicting each other creature in the spell's range. Each tier of body proportion alteration counts as one transformation. If you heal more than 30 HP and 30 Will this way, each status effect afflicting you is immediately removed.

Alteration Reprocussion

Spell Damage: Xd8 + Mind

Damage Type: Psychic

Additional Effect: Targeting a creature with corrupted psychic energy, you attempt to overwhelm the target's mind with thoughts of their current transformed state. If this spell hits a target, they sustain 1d8 psychic damage for each tranformation they're currently afflicted with. Each tier of body proportion alteration counts as one transformation. A creature currently unaffected by transformative magic and affects is immune to all damage from this spell.

Boon of Booty

Action: One-Handed

Damage Type: None

Targeting yourself or another creature within this spell's range, you magically enhance the target's ass, removing any penalties that it's current proportions may cause while turning its size into a defensive boon. For the next minute, each penalty provided by the target's ass are ignored and they gain +2 Defense for each size category of their ass. A single creature cannot benefit from more than one instance of this spell at once.

Boon of Bust

Action: One-Handed

Damage Type: None

Targeting yourself or another creature within this spell's range, you magically enhance the target's bust, providing it with an inherently mesmerizing quality. For the next minute, the target of this spell gains a one-handed action, allowing them to flaunt their chest to an adjacent creature that can see them. The adjacent creature must roll 1d8, adding their resolve. If the total is less than the target of this spell's Diplomacy plus 3 for each size category of their bust, that creature becomes charmed until the end of their next turn. While charmed this way, they cannot willingly move away from the target of Boon of Bust, nor can they target them with damaging spells or abilities.

Assimilation Cloud

Damage Type: None

Choose any one creature within this spell's range. Then, chose a 3x3 space area within this spell's range. The chosen creature doesn't need to be in this area. This area is filled with a faint white mist. Until the end of your next turn, all creatures within the chosen area's proportions are altered to become that of the chosen creature. While under the affects of this spell, various features of affected creatures are shifted to become akin to that of the initial chosen creature such as hair color and skin ton for this spell's duration.

Cloud Of Collective Pain

Action: Two-Handed

Spell Damage: None

Damage Type: None

Choose any one creature within this spell's range. Then, chose a 3x3 space area within this spell's range. The chosen creature doesn't need to be in this area. This area is filled with a faint red mist. All creatures within this chosen area are immediately afflicted with any status ailments afflicting the chosen creatures. These affected creature retain these status effects for as long as the chosen creature remains afflicted.

Cloud Of Collective Peace

Action: Two-Handed

Damage Type: None

Chose a 3x3 space area within this spell's range. The chosen creature doesn't need to be in this area. This area is filled with a faint blue mist. The current HP and Will of each creature in that area becomes your current HP and Will. If this would cause a creature to exceed their maximum HP or Will, their HP and Will become their respective maximums.

Identity Death

Action: Two-Handed

Range: 1

Accuracy Dice: 1d6 + finesse

Spell Damage: 10d10 + Mind

Damage Type: Psychic

Touching your hand to the forehead of another creature, you attempt to shatter their personality and memories, causing that creature to sustain 10d10 psychic damage. If this damage defeats a target, if the damage deal exceeded the target's remaining will by 25 or more, the target's memory and personality are erased. Choose any two personality traits to give that target and create 1d6 false memories to implant in that creature's mind. While a creature is affected by this spell, they ignore all bond levels they share with other creatures.

The effects of this spell last until the affected creature undergoes a ritual of purification performed by someone with whom they shared at least one bond level with prior to this spell being cast.

Spectral Leash 

Action: One-Handed

Accuracy Dice: 1d12 + finesse

Spell Damage: None

Damage Type: None

You target a creature with an opaque black lash of energy. On a hit, this lash wraps around the target's neck, forming a leash which lasts for one minute. While this leash is attached to a creature, it cannot move more than two spaces away from you. Additionally, if you move while this spell is active, all creatures currently affected by it move with you.

Illusory Binds

Action: Two-Handed

Accuracy Dice: 1d12 + finesse

Spell Damage: None

Damage Type: None

Targeting a single creature within this spell's range, you ensnare a target in elaborate bondage that only it can perceive for one minute.. While this spell is active, the affected creature's movement is reduced to 0 and it can only make one' hands worth of actions during its turn to make weapon attacks. At the end of each of its turns, an affected creature can roll 1d8, adding their resolve. If the total is greater than or equal to your mind, they break through the illusions of this spell and ends. If the affected creature has the Submissive personality trait, they reduce their roll by -3. Creatures immune to Psychic damage are immune to the effects of this spell.

Spectral Gag

Action: Two-Handed

Damage Type: None

Targeting a single creature within this spell's range, on a hit, you conjure an illusory gag within the mouth of a single creature, choosing the form this gag takes visually (such as tape or a ball gag). While this spell is active, the affected creature cannot speak, nor can it cast spells or use abilities that require use of its voice.. At the end of each of its turns, an affected creature can roll 1d8, adding their resolve. If the total is greater than or equal to your mind, they break through the illusions of this spell and ends. If the affected creature has the Submissive personality trait, they reduce their roll by -3. Another creature adjacent to the affected creature may use a two-handed action to attempt to make this resolve roll to remove this illusory gag. Creatures immune to Psychic damage are immune to the effects of this spell.

Locking Rune

You touch a lock attached to a piece of worn clothing on an object used to restrain other creatures. The locking mechanism then begins to emit a faint purple glow indefinitely, For as long as this spell remains active, this lock cannot be undone by creatures other than you unless a ritual of purification is performed on it. If you use this spell to target a locking piece of equipment worn by a creature with the Submissive personality trait, you may cast this spell as a one-handed action rather than as a two-handed action. This spell ends prematurely if you are defeated.

Groveling Aura

You emit an aura of utter domination which lasts for one minute, quickly breaking down the most submissive creature around you, causing them to immediately grovel and crawl when in in your presence. All creatures within this spell's range with the Submissive Personality trait immediately fall to their knees as soon as they enter this aura and they cannot stand for as long as they remain in it. All creatures with the Submissive Personality Trait can only move through crawling, causing their movement to be reduced by -2. Additionally, if you would target a creature affected by this spell with an attack or another spell, add +3 to your roll to hit.

Compulsory Support

You weave beguiling magics in an attempt to play into the submissive tendencies of those around you, encouraging them to target you with beneficial spells an abilities, even if you're their foe. Each creature with the Submissive Personality trait within this spell's range must roll 1d8, adding their resolve. For each creature that rolls less than your Mind, if that creature knows any beneficial spells or abilities, it must spend at least one hand worth of actions during its next turn to target you with such a spell or ability.
