Demonic Permeator (Alpha 0.1)

Demonic Permeators are an insidious form of demon that aim to take advantage of vulnerable cursed adventurers, claiming they can cure their curses and transformations. However if one is to make the mistake of excepting the assistance of one of these fiends, their transformations can become worsened or even permanent.

these fiends are able to alter the tone of their skin and hair to make themselves appear human. However, one way to detect the identity of this fiend is that they are unable to alter the shade or vibrancy of their eyes, meaning than no matter how human they may appear, faintly glowing eyes of green, blue, or even yellow can be a tell of their true nature.

These demons most often take the appearance of traveling priests and priestesses, overly eagerly willing to offer rituals of purification at no cost. However, if a creature allows this demon to perform a ritual, they will most often perform a ritual of permanence. Luckily, a Demonic Permeator is actually incapable of transforming a creature itself, requiring the creature to already be transformed or altered in some way in order for it to work its cursed magic. It should also be noted that despite their often holy disguises, they are completely incapable of casting any light or healing magic, and will often try to make up excuses why they can't provide such magic to help adventurers in need.

Deceptive Form: As a one-handed action, the Demonic Permeator can adopt a human-like appearance. This appearance lasts until the Demonic Permeator chooses to end it (no action required) or if the Demonic Permeator sustains light damage.

Demonic Casting: The Demonic Permeator knows three spells from the Arcanist spell list with a combined MP cost no greater than 18.

Curse Detection: As a one-handed action, the Demonic Permeator can target a creature, detecting how many curses, transformations, and mind altering effects are currently afflicting the target.

Progress Curse: As a two-handed action the Demonic Permeator can make an unarmed attack (using 1d6 an accuracy die) to attempt to progress a curse afflicting a target within two spaces of it. On a hit, rather than dealing damage, if the target is cursed and a curse afflicting the target is capable of advancing via a mechanic such as corruption charges or levels of a Corrupted Class, it advances one stage. If the target is afflicted by more than once curse, the Demonic Permeator chooses which curse to progress.

Ritual of Permanence: If a willing creature allows the Demonic Permeator to perform an hour long ritual on it, the Demonic Permeator can choose one curse currently afflicting that creature. That curse is no longer categorizes as a curse and is now considered a permanent trait of that creature, meaning it can no longer be removed via a ritual of purification. If a curse made permanent this was is capable of progressing and is not at its final stage, it can still progress as though it were a curse, though the effects of that curse can still not be removed.
