Progress Report #2 - 0.8
Added 2018-04-13 14:10:55 +0000 UTCThis is kind of an awkward time for me to write this report. I have just started working on a new scene that I'm hesitant to say much about until I'm absolutely confident that I can make it work, but I'm going to have to divulge some information, so...
First of all, I have now finished all the renders for the expanded river scene that I talked about in the previous progress report. I now only need to write the dialogue for that scene and script it. It's going to be an entertaining scene that many of you will enjoy, I suspect.
I have also created three new characters, of which two are girls. One of them has already been mentioned in version 0.7, while the others have not been even hinted at so far. A scene in which these appear is now in very early development, at the stage where I'm rendering concepts to see how it works in practice. If you played version 0.7 and met the dryad, you probably know that she has been asked to take you to the Fairy Queen. Well, this is the moment where that happens. As long as nothing goes horribly wrong, you should be able to meet the Fairy Queen in version 0.8.
That's the general theme of 0.8: continuing where 0.7 left off. We'll be heading back into more familiar territory in 0.9, but for now, the Fey Court is what I want to set up. It's going to be a lot of fun.
