This week we've been working on a Freeplay scene, sound effects and filling scene gaps with missing renders and props. We have also been working on another large scene which will most likely be the hardest scene in the whole game to create, so far.
A couple of extra characters are also under final work and will get to introduce themselves properly in 0.7 to push forward some of the story lines.

We also tuned some scooters this week. From basic kick boards to e-scooters, everyone's favorite sidewalk trashβnow also in Summer Heat!
They also come in the other main girls' colors. Green, pink and another blue one. Oh, and turquoise of course!

Last weekend, Npx felt inspired to create some more wallpapers and continued with the random render series. The result was Metal Gear Solid inspired Sophie, in the uniform and theme of Sniper Wolf. A boss fight from MGS1. Quiet from MGS5 was an option as well, but perhaps another day.

Next up in the random render series will be Ms. Hill.
The Influencer poll for the monthly special render is currently running. At the time of writing this post, it's tied between Bree and Becca.

2025-03-13 14:10:10 +0000 UTCPosing, lighting, angles and making the scene look good. Sometimes it just works but other times it can take a while to find a great angle. Also meeting our own expectations for these scenes, turning screenplay into renders is always little bit intimidating because you have a certain image in your head how it plays out and you want to get that on the screen just right. :)

Mia is right, Mike has a big mouth! π @Vincent That's true, after I realized I was stuck I was hoping to get rescued by topless Mia! π₯° @Lilatentakel Sadly when there was finally someone at the door I heard Helen's voice and I quick jumped into a stack of bras to hide and when Helen turned back I made a run for it while covered in bras. If you hear Helen mention a bra monster in the next update then you know what she's talking about. π Sadly I didn't get to see topless Mia. Maybe next time! π

Eve is too indifferent, doesn't really care what people think of her and isn't really into being popular. Helen, no offence Helen but you don't strike me as the type of person who is all about physical exertion. Mia is too responsible, she would enjoy riding the scooter but would be less keen on racing them as that means going fast which is dangerous and somebody could get hurt! Bree is sporty, athletic and competitive. She runs every night so has stamina and a good level of fitness and She likes to win! She would win comfortably

Love Bree in the banner btw. Look at the attention to detail, the small of her back...she is perfect, well done! Very curious what makes the hardest scene to create the hardest scene. Any clues? Pretty please? Ooh new character always good. I know some people are keen to see the story in SH move along so hopefully this will satisfy those people π€πΎ Love the scooters. Well, I actually hate e-scooters but for SH, I will definitely make an exception! I do love your prop creations! I'm ecstatic that Ms Hill will feature in the next RR, you know she's my favourite. Hinting at her backstory as well, I do love a backstory and she is possibly the most mysterious and intriguing female character in Summer Heat so I really can't wait for 0.7 now! π I'm equally excited for the monthly special, those influencers have been on my wavelength the whole time so far, I wonder if they will be again and we get to see a victory for Becca. 2025-03-08 00:43:19 +0000 UTCI am going to cancel even my $1 subscription and just subscribe release-to-release, depending on the length and amount of content released, but will see wherever I can review the content for free first. I was planning on becoming like a huge supporter of whatever kind after your earlier release(s), but not now. Seems like by the amount of commenters you have enough income. Your work has been sincerely amazing, some of the best I have ever seen, truly! But at this point it's long-since been beginning to feel more like tease then content (kind of like in the game). I will leave it at that. The games that only produce updates like once or twice a year, I can't name them because I forget. It might be best to provide your folks like more precise ETAs and quarterly releases, or every couple months or so. I wish you the best in your endeavor. Hopefully I will pay you more soon! :)
