Status Update #24

This week we've continued posing, working on screenplays and mainly scripting dialogue. The week also brought some new issues with a system that is used to make the scenes and renders. These little issues haven't slowed down production yet, but it is a clear sign that something is corrupted... somewhere... We'll be taking apart the system this weekend to check the hardware thoroughly and lowkey hoping to finally find something wrong.
Despite the PC drives being unreliable, we did make good progress on a couple of scenes which have been a chore to work through. We tend to prefer low amounts of text sometimes and there's going to be a couple of stretches without any text at all. Pure visuals. And SFX. And then on the flip side there's a scene with some proper word bloat for those who like to read a lot.
Something for everyone.
We were also pondering about the next preview. Should it be a character preview, or a preview of a scene? We're not big fans of overt spoilers, but opinions and wishes are welcome!

I downloaded the public version and played it last night and right after finishing the public one went right here to get the 0.6 version. I'm blown away by the quality of this VN. I am very eager for updates and just wanted to give my kudos at such a well done VN. Love and appreciate you guys.

I like showing not telling but I do find it really interesting to learn the backgroundsof the female characters and learn what they're they're thinking and feeling and understand why. I especially can't wait for MC to get a deep "understanding" of Miss Hill ๐๐

Also, with a little bit of luck you'll be able to identify the fault/issue over the weekend ๐ค๐พ Just make sure you still get some R&R in though! Ooh yes, I like the scenes that aren't too word heavy, where we take some time to enjoy the incredible visuals that you guys create. I'm a firm believer in if you can say it with images, you don't have to say it. But it's good there's some reading stuff in there as well for the people that like to read. It is, after all, a visual novel lol. As far as previews go, I don't mind little teasers but I'm not a big spoiler fan. I mean don't get me wrong, I don't mind little hints at what might or could happen but I still love to be surprised when I play the release. I do look forward your previews though m, esp those that stir my interests and intrigue me. Can't wait to see what you guys come up with. Have a great weekend you pair and don't spend too much time poching with that computer!

It would be cool to see a few spoilers but also can be more fun to play the game without knowing anything too. Maybe you guys can keep the main girls spoiler free since the main story revolves around the main girls most and just give us a small spoiler about 1 or 2 of the side girls we'll be seeing in this update. That could be cool but not a major spoiler. ๐ Thanks for the status update and have a really great week!

2025-02-21 19:08:49 +0000 UTCI do like the "showing and not telling" but it's also nice to read personalities through dialogue as well, so the balance is definitely welcome. I guess since we had a Kate preview last, a different scene preview would make sense? Though, I'd humbly vote for a Bree preview ๐ If the drive issues keep cropping up, maybe it's worth copying/moving the data (if it's practical) then reformatting them? Anyway thanks for the status update and have as easy a weekend as you can! ๐

I picture it like previewing a set but with Characters hah I hope you guys can find out what's wrong with your machine! I'm not the biggest fan of reading but I enjoy reading Summer Heat.
