Hello there!
Another work week in the bag. This week we've been busy posing scenes and also rendering them out. The past few days our workstation has been running almost non-stop because of the queue! It's a lot for us, but at the same time just feels amazing to have a rendering queue. Nothing better than waking up to a batch of freshly baked renders.
The Rendering Rig
We've started collecting parts for our future rendering rig. It's something that we've been looking forward to for a while now, as the render queue gets longer and longer it starts cutting into time that could be spent posing. We've also been pushing the limit of our current setups quite often so it's time to move past these headaches.
August Special Render
The poll for August is over, and Eve is the winner this month! She'll get her very first special render designed at the end of this month. In case you missed the previous renders, you can see the last two here:

The GPU prices have been dropping a lot lately, which has been a glorious sight after the past few years. We have one capable workstation for the rendering purposes, which is also used for creating new content for rendering. Can't do both simultaneously, not just yet, but that's the plan! No time wasted at all Huw! 👍

2022-08-19 22:19:52 +0000 UTCI hope the global GPU fiasco is not as fractious or, indeed, expensive as it was the last time (a while ago) I could bring myself to look. I have only a trusty old GTX 1070 (please don't break down on me now I've said that!) which happily for me, of course, on this side makes enjoying AVNs a piece of cake. You guys though must have all kinds of trouble with the demands on your hardware and available processing time. You have my considered sympathy. It must be challenging enough to actually create the poses and scenes for the "slide" sequences (forgive my ignorance of the technical terms). but then to have to sit there and wait (I doubt you can do any other work on it while it's doing that, can you?) while the machine chunters through composing every single render...Man, that must drive you all crazy. Anyway, thanks for all you do and the time and effort you're clearly putting in and sorry, as always, for the time you have wasted reading this drivel.
