Hope you had a great month! This week we've been chugging along making new renders, as per usual. We also prepared a new version for public release and started thinking about animations. So...
Animation
Animations are coming! We always planned to include animation in Summer Heat, especially during lewd scenes. There actually were a couple of small idle animations in the very first versions of the game. Blinking, mostly. We decided to cut them all out because they felt out of place at the time, but now we're confident enough to start including them again. We'd like to have at least one "proper" animation in Chapter 03!
Public version
We're releasing a new version of Summer Heat tonight—version 0.2.4. We fixed a couple of things and made some adjustments to the gallery screen... but the major difference is that this version will be free to the public! In the future we plan to release a public version after, well... some time. Typically before the next chapter.
Some things we did this week:
- 90 new renders
- Improved the gallery
- Added replay
- Improved eye quality
- Started working on the next Ember girl
