The Cave- Whole Process Overview

The whole process behind this painting was kind of an experiment for me. Using different techniques to come up with ideas and visualize them in order to make a better painting.
This is a Walkthrough of the whole process. From the idea to the finished piece.
I hope you get something you can use for your own art. And if you aren't an artist I hope you enjoy watching the process.
I'm going to do a series of more in depth short videos about some of the different steps from this process.

I had a dream where I had to bury a dead turtle and I was worried about getting salmonella. I washed my hands with a neighbor's hose. He threw me a bar of soap and said "It's only going to get worse."
I got a new commission.

2024-02-29 19:33:52 +0000 UTCI started watching this when I had a little time between meetings, it's really interesting, so much so that in the next Zoom that I was having with art organisations I brought it up. Let's just say that your methods and art have become impactful to a usually fairly reserved audience and have written down may of the stages for future teaching processes. I've always liked your work but it's good to see these steps in your artist journey, just wish I was able to afford it.
