Oh, and the nation Carlos the Rat ran away to, Lebanon? Well, that nation experienced such a cataclysmic collapse of its economy that most of its citizenry can't afford basic electricity. The explosion in Beirut made things worse, and when people tried to hold the government accountable, Lebanon sent their goons at Hezbollah to beat the ever living shit out of them, with some protestors succumbing to their injuries. Again, as much of an issue that I have with Japan's legal system, I'd rather have a system that treats rich people who would buy your family in the same way you buy a carton of milk, the same way that it treats others, regardless of how cruel said treatment is. Also, as an aside, it's pretty rich of a Canadian to cry foul of Japan's system, when Canada is ruled by a British monarch whose parent nation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, is planning on revoking jury trials altogether. Now that's medieval, being run by an unelected foreigner, who doesn't live in the country, and I'm saying that as an Englishman (an English Republican, but that's beside the point) who does not like the Guilty-until-proven-innocent, Bismarck's Razor preference to law that many Asian nations, Japan included, utilise. The fact remains that my negative position and hypercritical views on Ghosn are down to the fact that I understand the mentally defective mindset that men like him possess, and know how men like Carlos Ghosn operate; it's very dark and grim and disgusting, and is a skill I wish I did not teach myself to learn. I only understand in an evaluative sense of his broken, corrupt character, NOT an empathetic sense. Again, his actions at Renault back in 1997 were so awful that Belgium, a nation that tends to have a more positive reputation when it comes to its legal system, had to draft new laws to PREVENT Ghosn and people like him from ever trying such an act in their country, affecting thousands of their workforce, ever again. If that doesn't tell you why it's unwise to side with Ghosn's virtue-signalling over Japan's flawed legal system, then I don't know and don't want to know what would and how anything else could, do so.

You can decry the state of Japanese legal systems all you like, you can even cite the equally, if not even MORE corrupt UN (who enabled and ignored the actions of Macias Nguema in Equitorial Guinea until a year before Nguema's nephew deposed him, and also ingored and denied the fact that several UN peacekeepers raped Hatian Women during their mission in the West Carribean nation and reintroduced Cholera to the fucking country AFTER the earthquake, so the UN don't have a fucking leg to stand on when it comes to virtue-signalling the human rights of a multi-billionaire, who in places such as Europe and the United States, rarely, if ever, face any consequences or accountability, actual or imagined), It doesn't contradict the fact that Ghosn is a legitimate piece of shit, like most rich people, especially those who have the capacity to destroy the careers of tens of thousands of people to satiate HIS bottom line, not just the company's.
