💜Studio Progress💜
Added 2023-01-17 22:11:24 +0000 UTCThis is the progress of my studio so far, I've been able to cover up most of it with green screen fabric.
This material is turning out quite expensive, specially because I need a lot to cover up practically the entire room, floor and ceiling included and have it set up so I can have the most space to capture my whole body and face from lots of different angles.
My plan is to use this room to film my final project where I want to integrate real life image with CGI enviorment. Using my real face and 3D body for the inflation scene. I'm aiming for a professional cinematographic look, so next step after this, will be getting a good lighting system!

Thank you for your advice! I'm working with what I have, and atm that's the only room I can use for filming so I want to cover everything up... Any light I need will be using different spotlights and reflectors and should do the trick!

2023-01-18 16:05:21 +0000 UTCNear-seamless coverage! Remember that you don't need to completely "limbo" the entire camera frame. You can always "garbage matte." For example, if you have a floor cover only enough for where you are standing, it is enough to extract the detail of your feet. The rest is easy. You'll probably have to garbage matte out the lights, since you don't have a high studio light grid. (Working in a common room of a house is a challenge, but not everyone can get a studio.) EDIT: I'd say skip the ceiling. The white ceiling might help with lighting. (Bounce diffusion.) Even if you are planning low level shots looking upward, a green "flag" would be easier than covering the whole ceiling.
