BALANCING ACT - neutralising reshade for copperdale

The lighting in the Copperdale world that came with High School Years has very harsh, black shadows at midday, as well as a strong teal-green tint to the overall lighting. I've made a MultiLUT shader that tries to make the shadows less intense, and also neutralises that green tint.

This ISN'T a full ReShade preset. It is one shader that you can use with any of your regular presets (ReShade 4 and above). If you place this MultiLUT shader ABOVE your other effects in the load order it will neutralise the harsh lighting first, and then all your usual preset effects will apply as normal afterwards. It might help your usual ReShade preset look a bit better in that world. And if you don't use a ReShade preset already, you can use this alone.

This won't make your game beautiful or even change it very much. It just tries to balance out some of the harshest of the new lighting. In brightening the shadows some contrast is lost across the whole image. I've tried to keep this to a minimum, but it is unfortunately a compromise we have to make. Hence Balancing Act. People who edit World files might be able to fix the harsh shadows a lot better than this.

This may not look the same at all times of day. It was made specifically for the harshest lighting in the middle of the day. You might still find some of the 3 LUT options useful at other times of the day, however.

There are 3 LUTs you can switch between in the shader's drop-down menu:

- Copperdale - Exterior Warm

- Copperdale - Exterior Neutral

- Copperdale - Interior

I like Exterior Neutral the best, but Exterior Warm lightens the shadows even more, which can be useful in certain situations. The interior option just neutralises the green tint and doesn't affect shadows. You can switch between them as you need to.

Full installation instructions are included in the download. Read them carefully. All you need to do is download the prod80 shader pack if you don't already have it, install a few of the files from that, and then add the 2 files from my download.

You can see lots of example pictures here: https://imgur.com/a/KJ8ly4U None of them use any other ReShade effects other than this MultiLUT.
