When the dread Lich Lords of the Sword Kingdoms began to slaughter mountain trolls for conversion into undead behemoths, many of the dimwitted beasts fled to the west. The arrival of these lumbering monsters proved problematic for the humble peasantry of the Western Realms. Yet humans and elves were not the only inhabitants of the West to offer resistance. As trolls began roaming the foothills of the Tyrenee Mountains, they discovered that the hill giants already living there were not particularly welcoming of refugees!
The bigger they are, the harder they are to take down! The “Jewel of the West” expansion, the latest chapter in the Fantasie Unchained™ saga, introduces five new mega-scaled monster species unique to the Western Realms. In addition to player favorites like mountain trolls and dragons, adventurers who venture into the wilderness may encounter hill giants, Fomori ravagers, grand dire wolves, greater archdemons, and labyrinthian horrors.
As veteran players know, dealing with even a single gigantic beast requires a well-coordinated group effort involving player characters with complimentary skills. You know that the battle hasn’t gotten off to a propitious start if the first thing the giant grabs is your healer! 2017-12-19 09:10:15 +0000 UTCI was surprised how good it looked after I upgraded the shaders to Iray uber. Then, when I was all set to use it in the scene, I discovered that I no longer had the loincloth and axe freebies that went with it, and they are no longer available from Daz. So I applied some d-formers to the loincloth that I used on the giantess, and voila! :)
