What's going to happen on the 1st of August?
Added 2019-07-25 21:39:29 +0000 UTCAs I stated earlier on this month, I'm going to be messing with the tier prices and their rewards.
The main reasons I'm doing this is because A) I want to turn this gig into a more viable living, B) I want to contribute more to the rent than I am now, and C) I lose a lot of money from the conversion rates from dollars to pounds, service fees from Patreon, and when the money is transferred through PayPal
While the income I'm getting from Patreon is currently enough to live month to month, and I'm so very grateful for the support you guys have given for that to be the case, it's starting to wear me down that everything I get immediately goes out and I have about £3 to buy noodles every week.
This is not an attempt to guilt anyone out of money. Whether you donate $1, $5, $10, or $25 I'm still going to be incredibly thankful to you.
If you choose to discontinue your support because of this then I won't blame you. All I ask is that you please let me know what you think is unfair so I can try to make this work for everyone.
That said - Here's the changes:
$1 - Deckhands: No changes.
$5 - Navigators: You will lose access to the expansion animation released on the 29th but will retain your monthly requests.
$10 - Quartermasters: You get everything the Navigators get, but you also get access to the last animation of the month. You also get a breakdown for every animation I upload like how I made specific parts work, how the programming looks, and how I drew the character.
$25 - First Mate: You get everything the other tiers get, but you also get a to download the source .FLA files for my older and released animations for a more on-hand look. (This is subject to trial for now, so the files you'll see will be 2 months old)
