Greetings, everyone.

This spring I launched my book on Kickstarter. The campaign was unsuccessful.

I've spent the last few months sharing more on social media, doing more advertising, cross-promotiong with other TTRPG creators, and continuing work on the book itself.

The Relaunchening

I will be relaunching The Amethyst Dragon's Hoard of Everything on Kickstarter next Monday, August 5.

Those who back the book during the first 2 days will be able to save $10-$26 off the Kickstarter pricing by picking early bird reward tiers.

You can sign up right here to get notified right when the funding campaign goes live (by hitting the "Notify me on launch" button).

Kickstarter Intro

For those not yet familiar with Kickstarter, it's a crowdfunding platform, designed to let everyday people support the creation of something new.

Creators like myself post a project with a funding goal. My (new) goal is just enough to get my book printed as a high quality hardcover game book and to cover the fees Kickstarter charges.

Backers pledge money to support that project. Typically, in return for their support, backers get something from the project creator. In my case, backers will get one or more copies of the finished book (they choose when pledging their support).

At the end of the funding period (30 days in my case), if the goal is reached, pledged money is collected by Kickstarter and sent to the creator (which I'll be using to pay for printing). If the goal is not reached, no money changes hands and nothing else happens.
