It took a lot of futzing with a few graphics and some troublesome css coding (I'm not a css person) and html for the last 24 hours, but I've managed to update every NPC and monster I've posted so far. Yes, I code everything I make with good old html, so I can get exactly the formatting I want, before I turn things into images and PDFs.
I had gotten really tired of the old stat blocks with the slightly pinkish, flat coloration. I've now changed that over to an old parchment texture, along with top and bottom borders with some more shade variation along the lengths of them. The drop shadow has been pulled in a bit, and I figured out why it wasn't showing up in the older PDFs. I shrunk the margins so I could fit a little more text in without changing font size, and to make it look more like the Monster Manual ones.
I also changed the look of the "I made this" text block I include in the things I post. I won't be changing that on all the older spells/items/etc. I've made, but the new one will appear on newer content. I wanted something that just looked a little cleaner.
Each of the creature entries has two brand new PDFs, one regular and one that would take a lot less ink if you wanted to print it out. A few have had some minor text or wording fixes, while all of the stat blocks just have a better look than what I've used up until now. Nothing game changing, but the old stat blocks had been bugging me for a while, and now they won't.
For those that have the older files, you can get the links to download all the new versions, if you want them, on The List.
Have a great evening.
Now, I'm headed back to the workshop to work on newer homebrews.
