I thought you meshed the project with the review very well. I have no issue with this kind of stuff as long as you choose products that enable you to attempt projects that you wouldn’t otherwise pursue. I’d also like to see you try product that is similar or is supposed to replace one you have and compare/contrast. I like how you found and explained some of the shortcomings that come up when you actually use it for a project and not a test designed specifically for the product.
