Franky's destination is interesting for 2 reasons. First, Vegapunk was mentioned after Water 7 to be the Navy's top scientist and devil fruit expert, even discovering how to give Zoan Fruits to objects (like Spandam's sword or Mr. 4's gun). Second, the name of the island is Mechanical (Karakuri). In Enel's cover story that you reacted to, Karakuri was where an old man that died built the 4 robots that flew to the Moon and now serve Enel. π€
