Incoming new character! Seriously though, taking your kids to hit on a mall Santa is so trashy, Freddie!

I’ve had the character of Charlotte’s mom in mind for a long time. I first thought of Charlotte’s sister and her mother back when I first drew her - based on an original draft for a story that never came to pass (it wouldn’t suit her anymore anyway.)

Together, Charlotte (Charlie), Veronique (Ronnie) & Frederique (Freddy) make a trio of citrus treats, with their respective series names being Lemon Square, Key Lime and Marmalade. It’s a wonder Charlotte turned out as sweet as she has really.

Merry Christmas Eve, everybody! The next illustration coming is the one you all voted on! I thought I’d have it done for Christmas day, but that’s looking less likely now 😅
