Hey everyone! Here I am with Jojo Part 5, episode 23!! WHOA!!! This one was so back and forth with both Narancia and Giorno just upping their strategies like crazy!!!! It's soooo frustrating to see my little man try to get around this whole talking opposite thing, but thanks to a little guidance from Giorno, he's able to really pull off something incredible! And DANG, I don't know what kind of resolve it takes to be able to cut out your own tongue and keep fighting, but Narancia's got it!!!!
I almost felt kinda bad for our couple at the end, though! Giorno's giving this whole group the hope to keep going even after something unbelievable like betraying the boss!!! Great ep! Can't wait for more! Enjoy! ~ MH

I think you make a great point about the "mary sue" argument too!!! Giorno has had a couple of mishaps, even though he doesn't have a big character flaw that's easy to pin down, like Jotaro's temper or Josuke's trigger about his hair. He was definitely in a bad spot here without Narancia's help! Giorno's intellect definitely stands out because of how young he is! It's really impressive that he's done so much at a young age. I think that having the Dio genes added to the Joestar genes sets him apart in a lot of ways. I think he'll be a great boss too! Hahahaha when have we ever had plane trouble on this show, right?! :P Awww no worries, I'm happy with any fanarts you send to me!!!! YAY!!! 1 - HAHAHAHAHAH no you definitely had not sent that one to me!!!! Poor Bruno, he's truly living out the stressful car rides that parents are too familiar with! Also I love Mista freaking out for food because it gives me a good idea of how the Sex Pistols got that way!!! 2 - HAHAHAH awwwww this one was funny and sweet!!! Kids are so impressionable :P 3 - AWWWWW HAHAHAHAHA this one made me laugh out loud! It was sooooo cute and I could see where it was going from the start, but when Bruno was like "I was gonna eat that" it just made me laugh so hard hahaha!!! Banana ferret!!!! Narancia's reaction!!! Awwwww :D Thank you SO MUCH for these!!!! I always look forward to them!!! Hope your day wasn't too busy, thanks for taking the time to write to me!!!!!!!!! ^_^

Ohhhhh I didn't notice Fugo!!! :( OMG I *just* read that chapter of SDC and was reminded of that scene, just in time for you to mention it hahaha!!! So true! OMG I knew it was Nanami!!! No kidding about Veldora too!!! I found out it was Clash after, it honestly sounded like Crush so I was fooled!! Oh yeah I think Tiziano and Squalo were a couple for sure. I love that Araki is so open about representation in his manga! I can't wait to see more of it later too, wow!

Hahahaha true, Giorno and Narancia both did some crazy things here! OMG, Izuku's VA being crazier than Bakugo....it boggles the mind!!! Ohhhh good call on the references to Jaws and Liar Liar, I didn't even think of that! True, there will definitely be more Elite Guard folks coming after them. Hahahahaha oh no, have you been attacked by Talking Head??? Cause that sounded like the opposite of what's likely to happen :P

LOL yeah, like paying for the suit was overwhelming, but cutting out his tongue - no big deal :P They are so good as a pair right!!!! Their personalities couldn't be more different, yet they worked so well together! Omg I know, they know how to make you nervous about characters on this show right?! Yeah the pattern of Giorno inspiring everyone is growing more and more! I'm not ready either for whatever is going on with Bruno :O I love Bruno and Giorno's interactions too and it would be such a shame to lose him! He's the "mom" of the group according to the fandom apparently!!!

Though it was a hefty price paying a for a suit gets him scared yet anything having to do with causing mayhem is a walk in the park to him. I knew I would love a Giorno and Narancia paired episode! Those two stand user lovers were a good pair. I can see how they’d become elites. Second parts always get me thinking on who’s going to make it. I can definitely see what they’re doing with Giorno. I mean I saw this coming since the first part but now it’s becoming more apparent. He’s getting up there as my favorite but I’m not ready for whatever is/will happen with Bruno. Those two are so cool with each other and so in sync it’s going to be hard if we lose one

2023-12-12 12:17:32 +0000 UTCI neglected to say this at the end of the last reaction but the ending animation climbing a pillar of characters reminds me a lot of a similar thing they did during the Battle Tendency Arc. This particular episode is pretty much straight up action - but is anyone else getting a little bit bothered at how dense some of the others are - I mean I realize it’s kind of hard to read people sometimes, but Giorno seemed to be the only one who even stopped to notice Narancia’s facial expressions weren’t matching what he was saying. That being said… who’s crazier? Giorno for letting himself get shot while drowning and teleporting, or Narancia for cutting out his own tongue after getting it bitten off? Speaking of Narancia - we all know who his seiyuu voices - but could it be he’s doing a role even crazier than Bakugo!? Chew on that one for a while… I think I picked up on two references in here… I feel like the whole shark Stabs was a reference to Jaws, and the whole thing with Narancia not being able to say what he meant was a reverse reference to a movie called Liar Liar. Also that’s only two of the Elite Guard down… I am sure there will be more. In the meantime, they were saying it had only been four or five minutes since the attack happened, so the sea is probably safe for now. I’m sure the journey to the isle of Sardinia will be without incident, especially now that we’ve involved a plane… (you know what, maybe the Stand has affected me…) 😬

But what I can say is that Narancia has really surpassed himself in these two episodes. He thought very strategically with the help of Giorno and as you can see, the friendly bond between the two has grown significantly. I think the scene where Narancia holds Giorno in her arms is pretty sweet. Many people think that Gio is a Mary Sue and can basically do anything, which I think is wrong. Sure, he was able to grasp the situation very quickly and tried to help Narancia, which he did well, but he's not invulnerable. without Narancia's help he would probably have died here. Gio has also made other mistakes. For example, he drove the car into the canal in Venice and almost killed himself and Mista and he is only gradually getting to know the abilities of Gold experience. We are already used to the other Joestars being very strong and good at thinking strategically . With Giorno it's just so noticeable because he's still very young and can react uncharacteristically quickly for his age. But that's exactly why I find his character so interesting, because despite his young age he has already integrated himself very well into the mafia world and you can already tell that he will probably become a good mafia boss. Next week we're taking a plane to Sardinia, what could go wrong?:) Unfortunately, since I don't have that much time today, I didn't pick out as many fanarts this time. I hope you still like them! 2023-12-11 17:16:16 +0000 UTCHi Hime :) Small detail of the intro, the zipper which turns Bruno from white to red, which therefore indicates his new state of "living dead", but you also have a scene where you see everyone moving forward and one of them staying behind, it's Fugo. Narancia, Mista and Abbacchio hitting an innocent is quite reminiscent of Jotaro and the gang hitting everyone when they were looking for the Wheel of Fortune user. Tiziano obviously has a voice that you know, it's Nanami's voice, while Squalo, it's good old Veldora Tempest. Crush is actually made for Clash, for the group The Clash but you had Talking Heads. Squalo and Tiziano are indeed a couple, I don't know if it's officially said, but it's clearly implied, just like Gelato and Sorbet were. Araki is really very open about everything that is LGBT and queer, in other parts you will have a non-binary character (for certain reasons), a male character who cross-dresses and another who if it is not confirmed for the moment, appears to be trans.
