Hey everyone! Here I am with Jojo Part 5, episode 18!! The way Giorno took out Melone was so sick, and I absolutely love the new ability he unlocked!!! Now we've gotta get to Venice (yay!) and of COURSE we're gonna encounter our last Hitman of the bunch (besides their boss) on the way. The freezing Stand is way too powerful, to think that even Gold Experience can't work under those conditions...!!! Also watching Mista and Giorno together is really fun, they make a good team! Oh yeah, and we actually got to see THE BOSS!!!! Well, kinda!!! I'm loving this part soooo much!!! Can't wait for more! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

I would die for that crossover, omg Yang!!!! Lol yup and I can't imagine what being suspended in a state like that must have been like for Bruno and Trish. Yikes, you think Pericolo was given an order to...erm...do what he did??? Sheesh!!! I knew the boss was probably a bad guy but dang. Yeah I thought the boss was in Venice too! HAHAHAHA didn't mean to activate rage mode there! Omg I loved hearing Ghiaccio go off, it does comfort me in a way lol! Lol I haven't seen True Lies but now I need to! I was just saying that it's ironic that Bakugo would be an ice villain! And omg someone else said that in the comments about him and Narancia, missed opportunity! LOL probably a good call to not eat during this show :P But yeah, the names are yummy for sure!

Hahahha YAY I'm so happy you enjoy The Book!!!!! :P I really want it to catch on as a thing because I love writing down all my Jojo thoughts, dreams, theories, etc. lol. Wouldn't that have been crazy to have Jotaro learning Hamon from Lisa Lisa....all so they could defeat Joseph?!?!!?! I'd be sad but it's also so *JUICY* hahaha. I know right?!!? I'd love to have them all together, although from the sounds of it, we won't be doing a lot of group Jojo stories anymore :(((( Hahahaha Buffy loves to make cameos!!!!! ^_^

So happy to have another 3 parter thanks to my awesome schedule :D HAHAHAH the toilet scene was so funny, and it immediately made me think of poor Polnareff!! I can totally see the turtle room being designed by a man. :P Lol so true, like we require more than just some sort of hole in the ground!!! Yeah no, I would have politely declined as well....as nice as it was of Bruno to try!!! It just occurred to me that Babyface is kind of another Baby Stand isn't he :P Ohhhh that's a really nice touch about "di molto" not actually making sense!!! Sadly I don't speak Italian so I'm glad you explained that to me! That definitely adds to his unhinged nature. Ohhhh good call about the picture, I didn't realize that! I can't wait to see all about Risotto's Stand! No kidding about the highway and the train station!!! That's too bad the statue wasn't in the exact same place, but it is cool that Araki put so much effort into the details!!! I guess he had to take a bit of poetic license by moving the lion statue closer to the road lol. That is so awesome that you explored while you were there and looked for Jojo references!!!!! XD

2023-11-28 15:37:34 +0000 UTCOop there’s that Bakugou-esque fury coming out. I’ve always wondered what a chill Bakugou would be like. I’m loving this pair right now. They’re working together so well it’s effortless 😍 Ooh this week’s book tellings were soooo juicy! Now I won’t be able to sleep thinking about all these scenarios. Especially Jotaro training with Lisa Lisa. That would be so good 😤 And dang I also wanted a huge group gathering. That’s would have been delightful and wholesome. 😔 And stop the presses it’s Buffy!!! 💓

2023-11-28 12:01:37 +0000 UTCLet’s see if I can remember what stood out in a chronological order… Well, first, watching Risotto take that guy to task pre intro is pretty disturbing. Also, I’m not laser focused on this - but I have a friend who’s super sensitive to hand injuries - and is it just me or does Araki really like to depict those? (Between her disdain for that and her love of animals, I will not recommend this show to her btw 😅.) Watching all the different moving pieces and tactics being put on by Giorno us kind of like I feel after some JJK episodes this season… equal parts impressed and confused about who and what went where. It’s happening almost too fast. But hey, death by motorcycle is a new one on me. Given the bizarre nature of this series, half of me wondered if Yang would show up to aid in the explosion. I guess you could say Bruno and Trish finally were able to get out from under the table? Risotto was coercing an employee of Passione to hack into their database for information on their whereabouts, I think… that’s.why the final order came down in a way that only Bruno’s crew could access. But Pericolo… hoo boy, you thought the organization was dedicated… but I think he might’ve legitimately been given an order to do that and was happy to oblige. Trish’s father’s a real stand up guy if that’s the case. Also, does he want her for something besides what the obvious reason would be…? It was heavily implied, anyway, that the boss is in Venice somewhere… Argh, I meant Venizia! Please don’t hit me with the leaf of a book! Speaking of which. Giacchio’s raging sounds somewhat familiar… I didn’t think about it first, but then it’s like… that angry voice just gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling doesn’t it? :D when you hear him screaming about something, the world’s at peace… okay I’ll stop. 😂 I will say I pretty much expected something to happen when they said “only one straight long bridge into Venice.” Me: “You HAVE seen True Lies, right?” His Stand is pretty scary, and it looks like we’re gonna need Giorno to create some new material when this is over… also it’s kind of ironic that “Bakugo” is an ice villain here as opposed to a flame explosion hero. I’m just disappointed Narancia hasn’t clashed with him yet. But there’s one more episode in the batch. Oh, you asked why all the names were making you hungry? Cause Italian food is awesome, of course! But given this show’s penchant for disgusting things, I don’t plan on eating till I finish the next chapter… 😂

So much has happened that I can't go into it all, but I will address a few things we didn't discuss yesterday. For example, I always find the scene where Bruno offers Trish an alternative toilet very funny. I believe that the room in the Turtle was designed by a man, as they usually can't imagine what it's like to go to the toilet as a woman. We can't just go to the toilet behind every bush like men, so we need a proper toilet. And that's probably why Bruno thought his solution was the perfect one for Trish's problem, but I wouldn't have gone along with Bruno's suggestion if I were Trish. Melone's stand, babyface, is a very strong stand indeed. The way he is "born" is very creepy, but somehow I find it fascinating what ideas Araki has for Stands. One fun fact about Melone is that he's yelling "Di molto!" Like that doesn't make any sense. It's like he's yelling "very much!" or something like that. He should be yelling "molto bene!" or "di molto bene!" In this episode we also learn the meaning of the after credit scene from episode 13. Risotto had found Pericolo's body there and a few snippets of the burnt photo where the lion statue can be seen. And that's why he was able to restore the picture completely with the help of a Passione employee. In these scenes, we have already seen a glimpse of Risotto's stand. But later on, we will find out exactly what his stand is. Another thing I'd like to mention is Araki's attention to detail in Part 5. I was in Venice myself in 2021 and the highway that Giorno and Mister drive on really exists. I drove on it myself. And the train station is there too. Only the lioness statue is in a different place and not at the station. When I was there, I looked in vain for the statue, but it's in a completely different place in Venice, so I was a bit disappointed that it doesn't match the anime one hundred percent.

He's honestly my fav of the Hitman team for both his power (a stand that can be wore as armor with ice skates is too cool), and his personality because he's GENUINELY SCARY. Like yeah it kinda seems like a gag that he over analyzes stuff like pronunciation but I feel that kind of passionate attention to detail is like a hallmark of someone who can do whatever they put their mind to. Plus he's not incorrect lol
