Added 2023-11-15 13:12:38 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to episode 10 of Kamen Rider Gotchard! Wow!!! This one had some legit sweet/sad moments you guys! I'm glad that our friend will have a chance to get to know his kindred spirit again, and it seems like even her brother started to have a little change of heart towards her at the end. Oh yeah, I was kinda surprised this wasn't a "framing" situation or something - like no, the brother really did just wanna take her out! And now we know where the UFO came from lol. Can't wait for more! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

Yeah I'm still not sure about that either, you're right about the file. Exactly, it's not so much hate/malice as it is that strong resentment, but the malgams do seem to feed pretty well off of that. Reverse Grimm effect is a great way to put it! Yeah I think they're fated to meet if this happened to them twice! Hahahahaha omg I didn't even pick up on the names, what the heck! Thanks for clarifying about the UFO! And yeah, that's what I was wondering about the memory wipe!

The memory wipe happening at the same time to the fated couple could have just been a coincidence with timing. Or was it?

Oh I need to correct myself, it sounds like it’s indeed Mechani-Chani (KHAN) as a pronunciation. So first question, what are those strips Clotho was collecting, why do they all look different as well? Second question… why does Monaco have a detailed file on Hijiki (Tsurugi makes sense because he’s a convict), but… 🧐 Yeah, I’m still not sure how I feel about you. It seems the malice preys on resentment very well - I don’t think Tsurugi hated his sister, but of course there are going to be times as a responsible sibling you think “I wish I wasn’t stuck having to do all this.” That resentment transferred over to Hijiki when he let off steam without being in control of himself. It’s kind of a reverse Grimm effect - it feeds on the negative energy and enhances it whenever possible. Somehow I think Kajiki and Hijiri will be just fine if they clicked twice… some people are just destined to find each other, I guess. Not everyone gets that opportunity once, let alone twice… This Chemy Law thing is becoming more troublesome by the episode… By the way… interesting names… Himeno? Denji? Are we sure we’re watching the right show today? 👀

2023-11-16 04:55:26 +0000 UTCHi Hime :) Not necessarily much to say about this episode, the revelation that it was indeed his brother and that he was indeed an arsonist, I predicted it last time so no surprise on that side. On the other hand, I didn't expect Hijiri to become a malgam in turn. For the end, I think it's the teacher who erases Hijiri and Kajiki's memories, it's just that it happens just when Clotho captures the new chemy. Which is a level 10, the first level 10 we see in the series. This is where it could be interesting, do you need a level 0 to go with a level 10 and make the perfect combination, or level 10 being already perfect from base, it will boost another combination to give a 20. We just have to wait until next week to find out. Also, I like the fact that despite the memory wipe, Kajiki and Hijiri can meet again. Even Kudoh smiles at the end and seems happy about this event. Is she, who seemed to be rather cold at the start of the series, starting to open up a little ? Hotaro's influence ?

2023-11-15 14:22:28 +0000 UTCIt's pretty shock that they suddenly get their memory erased. It is a relief they get to meet later. It did feel like giving a "Your Name" vibe. Come to think of it, Gotchard's method of memory erasing is not like how Another Rider is done. Nothing is fulfill the space that left behind, since Kajiki said in ep 2 that he feel like he forgot something. That's horrible. Together with the fact that there are a lot of criminal in this world, Gotxhard might be one of series you don't wanna be in.
