Thanks for reading it. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. It did take a lot of time indeed. I read it so many times before publishing it. Then I took a few days break and read it one last time before clicking submit. It was one of the first times when I told myself: "Hey ... this is really good." More and more, I'm convinced that the longer the story is, the better I am at writing. I'm just not designed to write short stories, I think.

Though to be fair this story reminds me of a human interest story I saw on the telly as a kid. Where the wife of an avid stampcollector answered that she didn't blame her husband as it clearly was his hobby that was controlling him and not the other way around. I particularly love the way you depicted Mark's opening mindset. I think everybody, esp in this time, has had moments that felt exactly like that. The way the ladies subsequently tackle that issue is wonderfully creative. Thanks for taking so much time crafting this work. It shows and I will gladly re-read it the coming days

I would like to formally object to Mark's completely inappropriate behavior. While I understand Bio-diversity in captivity is of the utmost importance this behavior simply cannot be condoned. Keeping all three types of cat-girls under one roof in this time of scarcity and crisis is simply immoral. He should share at least one of them with me!!!

Glad you liked it. It was a lot of work. Syr's motivation and her story will come at a later time. She is indeed very mysterious. Kitty's motivations for the birthday surprise are love and fear. It is unlikely that I will write a block of text clearly explaining why she did it. Kitty is a third person. We don't get to know exactly what she thinks unless she speaks up. As for the house that is referring to, it is Erika's house. There were mentions of it in the previous chapters. Hope this helped a bit. Thanks again for reading.

Chapter 9 is great again and I love ist very much. Most of the open-ended questions are answered and the love between the characters is soul-stirring. The birthday surprise was one thing I hoped it would happen, and voilà... But there are some things that are confusing me. - What is Erika's motivation to hire Syr? And what's Syr's own motivation to work as a maid? - what's Kitty's motivation about this birthday surprise? Has Erika persuaded her? I think, that's important, but not sufficiently answered. - what's about this new house? Whose house is this? I think, there's no way around a sequel. :-)
