Hey everyone! Welcome back, I am back today, with more Gen:LOCK!!!! WOW guys!!! Lots going on here! Marin learning the truth, Brother Tate making some big decisions, Chase really starting to lose it, etc. Oh yeah, and Chase learning that Dri is still okay!!! Really was not sure how he was gonna take that, but at that point, I'm pretty sure he was just resolved to end everything. Until...........a certain someone shows up!!!!!!!!!!! I've never been so happy to see her in my life!!!! So, she wasn't really gone, which means the Ascension isn't necessarily permanent??? What could this mean for both sides??? I can't wait to find out!

Plus Dr. Jha making that offhanded comment about individuality within the flow.....I just can't help wondering if the AI that runs the nanotech has a meta-consciousness all its own, with its own aspirations and goals.....like in a lot of SciFi, nanotech is mindless "grey goo" but Season 2 of Gen:Lock is flipping that upside down and asking (I think) what if the grey goo isn't mindless but has evolved a meta-consciousness of its own, what if it truly is a collective ascended life form? It kind of reminds me of the Human Instrumentality project from Neon Genesis Evangelion but with a twist. That angled elevator that Sinclair & Holcroft were riding down definitely gives off Tokyo III /NERV HQ vibes from Eva.....a deliberate nod, I think.
