🥳 NEW (small) Mod + NEWS!

Hey friends!

February flew by so fast I can't believe it! I have some news for you today, plus a small mod release! Let's get into it!

New Patch UPDATE

First, there's a new patch update in the Sims 4 that brings back burglars to the game, yay!!! I tested all my mods (released since I came back) with this update and everything seems to work well. If you notice anything odd or encounter a bug, please use the bug reports form. A huge thanks to everyone who has already submitted feedback, it has helped me fix issues and helps the whole community, thank you!!

This patch update introduced a new burglar alarm panel, and I thought it would be cool to integrate its features into the Luminova Smart Home Panel and hubs. What do you think? (probably coming in the next Luminova update, along with improved translations for several languages!)

New Small Mod: FreshPieMenu

Some of you have noticed in my screenshots and trailers that I have a custom UI for the pie menus that matches the design of my custom menu icons, like the ones you have seen with CheatsMaster or Luminova. I'm releasing this small mod today!

I redesigned it because the pie menu is one of the most frequently seen UI elements in the game, and I kind of dislike the dated look of The Sims 4’s original UI design (which makes sense since it was created 10 to 15 years ago). I used to have another UI mod called Darkmode, but it was too unstable since almost every Sims 4 update would break it.

However, this new small UI mod has proven to be stable for months now, and I am happy to share it today with you all. It is called FreshPieMenu, and it might be expanded in the future with other stable UI elements. It's just a small redesign but it really makes a difference for me while playing!

You can now download FreshPieMenu, the package file is attached at the bottom of this post!

The original menu vs the redesign in FreshPieMenu. (The icons and re-organised cheats require my CheatsMaster mod). Be careful, this mod will conflict with any other UI mod overriding the pie menus!

Plumfruit Mod Kits - Work-In-Progress

I’ve been hard at work on two new mod kits this month (Plumfruit related), and I cannot wait to share them with you. The Plumfruit Essentials mod kit will revive our most beloved Plumfruit devices, including the PlumPhone, PlumPad, iPlum computer, and more… all created from scratch! It will be released alongside the new [REDACTED] mod kit (keeping the secret until the cinematic trailer announcement) and I want to release them both at the same time.

I wanted to finish Plumfruit Essentials and the other mod kit in February, but I might have given myself an unrealistic deadline (again!), and I am not quite ready to release these two mod kits. Thank you for your patience as I work on these packs. I want to make them the absolute best possible and give myself enough time to create a cool trailer, because I truly love making them! My new goal is to release them in March, so stay tuned! In the meantime, members can get a sneak peek here + and another one here!
