I made this point in the Discord but I think it's worth reiterating here: I don't think cultural norms have anything to do with my point, and I'm certainly not holding American standards as in some way higher. I'd still feel similar if he said 18. I still feel similar if a 40-year-old tries to hook up with an 18-year-old, especially when the older individual is in a position of prestige and/or authority over the other. I think it's a bad, unprofessional, and (at best borderline) predatory thing to say in such a scenario. I think there are far better ways to comfort a sick child. Hope that clarifies my point on that piece of dialogue -Remington
