Each faces death differently, but doubt runs through both perspectives. The atheist confronts mortality with the belief that there’s nothing beyond it, relying on evidence and skepticism, while the theist approaches it with faith in something beyond. But they’re both on the same ride, driven by their interpretation of doubt, facing the unknown in their own ways.
Debating these perspectives becomes redundant because there’s no definitive answer to resolve the doubt for either side. It’s a personal journey, and rather than argue, it’s about accepting that everyone is processing mortality within the blip, in ways that make sense to them.
By accepting that both sides are responding to the same existential reality, the need for debate falls away, leaving room for individual understanding and coexistence.
